Tomato and Onion Curry

Combine in a pot with some oil:

  • 2 tablespoons garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons ginger paste
  • 1/2 can of tomato paste
  • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • 2 jalapeño peppers (chopped)

Cook uncovered on high for 10 minutes.

Reduce heat to medium and add:

  • 1 can of Patak’s Balti Paste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons madras masala
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon mint chutney
  • 2 cans diced tomato

Cook covered for 15 minutes
